Winner at the 2025 NZ Food Awards - Zesty Salmon Spread & Blackcurrant & Kāmahi Honey Cold Smoked

We’re thrilled to share that Aoraki Salmon has won two prestigious NZ Food Awards!

Our Zesty Salmon Spread (Yuzu, NZ Lemon & Smoked Salmon) won the award in the Chilled/Frozen Award category.

Our Blackcurrant & Kāmahi Honey Cold Smoked Salmon won the Primary Product Sector category.

We’re especially proud to be the only company to win awards for two different products - a rare double win that showcases the innovation and craftsmanship that goes into our Aoraki range.

This recognition celebrates innovation, sustainability, and excellence across Aotearoa’s food and beverage industry — and we’re proud to see our smoked salmon products stand out among more than 365 entries nationwide.

The Judge's feedback on our two products:

“... a true value-add opportunity. Delicious, with a creamy fresh flavour. Novel product in this space and good technical application.”

The results were announced at the NZ Food Awards Gala Dinner on 16 October 2025, and we couldn’t be prouder!
