
Crispy Kimchi & Hot Smoked Salmon Wontons

Ingredients
Wontons
180g Aoraki Original Hot Smoked Salmon Portion, flaked
100g firm tofu, finely crumbled and moisture pressed out
⅓ cup kimchi, finely chopped and squeezed of excess liquid
2 spring onions, finely sliced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated
24 wonton wrappers
Water, for sealing
Light oil spray, for air frying
Serving Sauce
½ cup soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice vinegar
Method
Step 1
Prepare the filling: In a bowl, gently combine the flaked hot smoked salmon, tofu, kimchi, spring onion and ginger. Mix until just combined.
Step 2
Assemble the wontons: Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface and spoon about 1 tablespoon of filling into the centre.
Lightly brush the edges with water, fold into your preferred shape and press firmly to seal.
Step 3
Air fry: Preheat the air fryer to 190°C.
Lightly spray the wontons with oil and arrange in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).
Air fry for 8 minutes, turning halfway, until crisp and golden.
Step 4
Make the serving sauce: Stir together the soy sauce, sesame oil and rice vinegar in a small bowl.
Step 5
Serve the hot, crispy wontons immediately with the dipping sauce on the side.
